Today Pelea from the child cancer foundation came to talk to us.She taught us that every time you get a bead it is a bead of bravery we learnt to cough in our hands or our elbow and if we cough in our hand wash them.

Do not share water bottles

Dont share food

When Kauri feels lazy tell a teacher or check up on him

Ask mum and dad to ring the school to tell them that you are sick.

Today I am going to be more healthier by not sharing my food and drinks.If you want to be healthy to follow these simple rules.

Today my comprehension activity today is the puppy I have to answer all the questions from the story I was reading. 

Was the puppy hungry?How do you know that? Yes because he had not eaten is two days

Why were his paws hurting?Because he had been walking around all day

What things in the story told us that the owner treated the puppy right? He fed the puppy kept it warm and loved it.

Why had the puppy run away? because there was a fire

Did he know where he was going when he ran away?How do you know that? no because after the fire he ran away and he does not  know where to go.

but they had shouted at him and driven away What does driven away mean? driven away means driving away.

Why did the puppy lift his head?Because he saw a light

Do you think the puppy still trust people?Why do you think that?He does not trust people because the people did not treat him with respect.
