Myths and Legends !

WALT reflect on the Kia Manawanui syndicate trip.
On Monday 11th may the Kia Manawanui syndicate went to the museum to learn more about myths and legends. We had a really good time and really had fun. My favourite part was going to the volcano room.

School Values in a Myth!

WALT: describe school values in a myth.

Today we had to read a story which is called when the kiwi lost his wings we all had to figure out if our school values were in this story.

Our school values are

 Rangimarie (peace)

Tukumarie (tolerance)

Whanaungatanga (building relationships)

Manaakitanga (caring for others)

Maori Atua's :)

WAL About Maori Atuas

Today for languages we were learning about maori atuas. The word atua means god. Paterita and I worked very hard on this presentation we had to create a DLO that shows information about maori atuas. My favourite god is Rongo because he holds the peace and he's he god of peace.

Library!

Today after interval the Kia manawanui syndicate went to the library to issue some books I haven't read any books for a long time so I was very excited to read one. The library book that I had issued was called a Fabmouse School adventure by Geronimo Stilton. I was really interested in another book called captain underpants (first novel). My book was about a mouse who goes to a show and talent  for his little nephew Benjamin but things don't quite go his way....
